COVID-19 UPDATE #3

KPSP Closed & All Training Sessions Cancelled Until Further Notice

Wednesday, March 18, 2020

To Our Valued Athletes, Clients, and Community,

We hope you are all well & staying safe.

This is a follow-up to our previous update sent on March 14th. As promised since canceling this week’s sessions, we have re-evaluated our response to COVID-19 and have a new update for you:

Due to the coronavirus situation quickly evolving, we've made another difficult decision to close KPSP and cancel all training sessions until further notice. Your health is most important to us.

We want to assure you that all recurring payments will be paused as of today (March 18, 2020). We will make sure to email you before re-opening and resuming any training subscriptions.

All athletes/clients will be able to make up their unused sessions when it is safe for us to resume training.

Again, we're beyond grateful for your support during this hard time.

Thanks & stay safe,

The KPSP Team

COVID-19 UPDATE #2

All Training Sessions Cancelled Effective March 14, 2020 Until March 22, 2020

Saturday, March 14, 2020

To Our Valued Athletes, Clients, and Community,

With growing concerns and increased proactive restrictions around COVID-19, we wanted to provide you with an update regarding training sessions at KPSP.
Due to the coronavirus, we have decided to voluntarily cancel all training sessions for the next week effective today, March 14th, until March 22nd, 2020.
We've made this decision with the health and safety of each athlete and family as our top priority. We hope this preventative measure will contribute to both your safety and the safety of our community as a whole too.

Please note the following about make-up sessions and our commitment to each athlete's continuing development:

  1. All missed sessions can be made up within 60 days of resuming training. We have extended our usual 30-day policy to 60 days to best accommodate our athletes' schedules as they book make-up sessions.
  2. For this week, all registered athletes will be given a custom online training program through the KP ELITE Training App. With video demonstrations and an in-app Coach Messenger, it's our goal to help them continue working on their athletic development while at home. If interested, please email us at info@kpstrength.com and provide an email address that you or your son/daughter can use to access their program.
  3. We may re-evaluate the duration of this temporary closure as next week progresses and in line with the recommendations of the Public Health Agency of Canada and Public Health Ontario. If there are any changes, we will update you directly before March 23rd.
We appreciate your understanding and support! Have a restful and safe March Break!
Thanks & take care,

The KPSP Team

COVID-19 UPDATE #1

Friday, March 13, 2020

To Our Valued Athletes, Clients, and Community,

We wanted to provide you with an update on the coronavirus, or COVID-19, and how we're responding to it at KPSP.

Our highest priority is always the wellbeing of our athletes and clients. So, we are closely monitoring this evolving situation and are implementing preventative measures as recommended by The Public Health Agency of Canada & Public Health Ontario.

Here's how you can helpWe kindly ask that our athletes and clients take the following precautions along with us to help everyone stay healthy when training at KPSP:

  1. Practice proper hygiene.
    • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If you can, we encourage you to bring your own hand sanitizer as well.
    • Cough and sneeze into your elbow or tissue.
    • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth without having washed your hands.
    • Please refrain from giving handshakes/high-fives at this time.
  2. Wipe down gym equipment before and after use. As athletes are sharing equipment, kindly use the disinfectant spray available and wipe down gym equipment before moving on to another exercise.
  3. If you are feeling unwell, please rest and recover at home. You can email us to reschedule your missed session.
  4. If you have recently returned from travel, please follow The Public Health Agency of Canada recommendation that ALL travelers monitor their health for 14 days after returning to Canada. Anyone in the household who develops symptoms AND has travelled anywhere outside Canada within the past 14 days OR has had close contact with a COVID-19 case, should self-isolate at home. You can email us to reschedule your missed sessions.
